An early morning. Awake the troops, be clean, be presentable and head into Indianapolis morning traffic from the suburb of Greenfield. Showers, breakfast, prep trailer & pets and make the morning commute. Whew. Mornings will seem so much simpler when we return home to Verrado!
Our visit to Sycamore School was fantastic! 200 passionate kids was an inspiration! They had so many questions and were truly understanding of the crisis and the solutions. The school’s community service group OHANA, is planning to spearhead a project to fund water filters, and a few of the students are even hoping to make the trip to Africa to distribute the filters!

Many great questions were asked, and they had interesting and pertinent comments to share. One young man even shared his experience on what happens to the body when it contracts cholera – he read it in “A Book Called Great Disasters!” Nick Shirrell asked, “Can the straw filter saltwater?” Unfortunately no it can’t Nick, but great question!

Thank you to Lori Buzzetti and her family, for their support and help to make the connection with Sycamore School. Tessa Buzzetti was not able to attend the Assembly, as she was home not feeling well. We missed you Tessa, and hope to see you next time!
WaterIsLife.com is excited for a return visit to Sycamore and see what amazing changes a group of kids in Indianapolis can make in the lives of kids in Africa!
We are on our way to our final stop on the Coast 2 Coast Journey – Oklahoma City. Our host’s are treating us to a hotel room with white fluffy sheets! Picabo and Liv’s reward for ‘that Walmart thing!”
Great job at the school. It is so exciting to see the students getting into helping other students half way around the world.
Good job! May you can exchange more idea with your friends about WATER IS LIFE!
